Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

 

This policy is designed to maintain fairness and ensure that both your appointment time and the therapist's time are respected.

 

Non-Refundable Booking Deposit

 

To secure your appointment, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of online booking. This deposit guarantees your time slot and will be applied toward the total cost of your service.

  • This deposit is not refundable, even in the event of a cancellation.

  • It is forfeited if a cancellation occurs outside of the grace period defined below.

 

The 24-Hour Grace Period

 

We understand that unexpected things happen. To accommodate this, we require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or request to reschedule your appointment.

  • With 24+ Hours' Notice: If you cancel or reschedule outside of this window, your deposit is retained by the business, but you will not be charged any additional fees.

  • Best Scenario: If you reschedule more than 24 hours out, we will transfer your existing non-refundable deposit to your new appointment date.

 

Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy

 

If you fail to provide us with the required 24 hours' notice, the following policies apply:

  • Late Cancellation (Under 24 Hours): You will be charged an additional fee equivalent to 30% of the total service cost, in addition to forfeiting your original non-refundable deposit.

  • No-Show: If you do not arrive for your appointment and do not contact us ("No-Show"), you will be charged 100% of the total service cost, minus the deposit already paid.

Note on Emergencies: We value your well-being. If a true, unavoidable emergency (such as a sudden illness or accident) prevents you from providing 24 hours' notice, please contact us immediately. We handle these situations on a case-by-case basis with compassion and discretion.

Cancellation Policy: Fertility & Prenatal 


We understand that the journey to and through parenthood is often unpredictable. This policy is designed to be highly flexible and accommodating to your unique circumstances, ensuring you can prioritize your well-being and the needs of your family without the stress of a cancellation fee.

 

Rescheduling and Cancellations

 

  • No Cancellation Fee: For all appointments booked under the Fertility and Prenatal Wellness service, we will never charge a cancellation fee. We simply ask for as much notice as possible.

  • Deposit Transfer: We require a non-refundable deposit to book your time. In the event you need to cancel or reschedule, your non-refundable deposit will be held as a credit and transferred immediately to your next booking.

  • 2-Hour Courtesy Notice: If possible, please provide a minimum of 2 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This courtesy window allows us the best opportunity to offer your time slot to another client.
     

 

Special Circumstances (Zero Penalty)

 

We recognize that emergencies are common during this time. Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel for any of the following reasons; you will receive a full credit for your deposit to use toward a future appointment:

  • Sudden Illness or Nausea: Sudden morning sickness, flu, or other unexpected illness.

  • Labor or Birth: Any sign of labor, or having just given birth.

  • Unpredictable Childcare: Unexpected changes in childcare, or a sick child preventing you from leaving home.

  • Urgent Medical Appointment: Unexpected appointments required by your doctor, midwife, or fertility clinic.
     

 

Note on No-Shows

 

If you miss your appointment without any communication ("No-Show"), your pre-paid deposit will be forfeited. We ask that you contact us, even with a brief text or email, so we know you are safe and we can hold the deposit as a credit for you.
